We moved last week with these guys, 4 energetic lads arrived and was very polite and helpful throughout the move. Packers came the day before to ensure everything was packed safely. Would highly recommend them to friends and family.

Do Not Touch This Company.

We booked this company for our move, to supply storage for a month and then redelivery to our new house. The quote was reasonable and they seemed polite and helpful. Their website informs you that when you book you get free boxes and packing materials. When I asked when these would arrive I was told that the deal had now finished but they had applied a discount to our quote, although there is no evidence of this. On the day of the move - they were unprofessional, rude about the people who were moving into our house who had also booked them. Instead of two teams they had one team moving our buyers into our house and our stuff out. Consequently the move took over 12 hours!! 3 days after the move we received an email asking for a further £700 (we had already paid £1200 plus an additional £180 for boxes). When we questioned it we were met with highly unprofessional and rude responses via email. They then would not inform us of which the unit our furniture was being stored in and basically held our goods to ransom until we paid. After discussion with the Citizens Advice Bureau we paid "Under Protest" and informed them we would be seeking to reclaim the additional costs via the courts. After being told that they might not redeliver our goods if we took them to court I informed them I would contact the police as it would be classed as theft. That did the trick and they redelivered as agreed. However, once again they were rude and unprofessional, late delivering, and managed to lose a mattress and a bookcase for 4 days! Furniture was damaged and they have refused to take any responsibility. The photos posted are of the damage they caused to our furniture. We are currently actioning legal proceedings.

Thank you for your review, I hope you and your family have settled into your new home. However your review contains some incorrect information. Firstly you did not pay the amount stated, secondly your move did not take over 12 hours. we did your's and your friends move within 12 hours as we arrived at 8am to start and was finished the second load to store by 6pm- YOUR BEING 10 HOURS INCLUDING TWO TRIPS TO PETERBOROUGH STORE. We sent a four man team using two large 3.5 tonne vans your first load was taken to storage by 1pm on the move day. You was given a discount of 20% which you would of read within our terms that only one discount or offer can be used at any one time. you also did not pay £200 for our packing materials a discounted offer of £120 was refused and your purchased your boxes elsewhere at your cost and preference. I personally advised you not to send the items reported as damaged without adequate packaging your response to this was I don't care about a few scratches but then tried to claim on our insurance for something that was your own fault. your items was stored and returned to you minus a mattress and a cabinet which we did apologise for at the time and it was delivered back as soon as we located this. we would of been quite happy to claim for you had the item of been protected properly upon its collection. You was not at the property when the second load was delivered instead we was met by a load of loud partying teenagers dancing allover the house hardly ideal when trying to complete a removal. Your dogs bed became damaged on its corner because the item was wider that your doors upon speaking with your daughter we was told to just leave it where it was. Insurance fraud is very serious how can we claim for items we told you not to send without being adequately packaged for storage your goods were moved 4 times before being delivered back to you and that's why they need packing properly!
We're sorry you was not happy with the service if the items had of been packed properly the outcome would im sure of been very different. You also failed to inform us of your home office equipment on your quote request this is why the quote was adjusted to the correct charge as per the t&c's sent and agreed to by yourself. When a customer changes their mind after the service start eg does not now agree with the terms agreed to qwe as all companies seize the service as its not covered he insurers without the customers agreement as its not a bound contract. we delievered everything back to you and was absoloutly nothing to do with the police if you reasearch this this case is a civil dispute anfd the police have no power whatsoever to intervene. We don't mind your review but do the incorrect facts I consider to be added to add some weight to your argument. Please correct the information you know is wrong!! 5 star team and company. They ware on time, very polite, good team, fantastic price. Would recommend to everyone - freinds and family. They arrived in new removal truck, very well organised, very good unifrom, very quick at working, the team was fantastic and would use them all the time, cause they was brilliant and I was very pleased with everything. A fantastic team actually turned up early and got to work straight away very hard working team everything was packed the day before the renoval hard to fault these guys worked hard to keep to our tight deadline excellent price booked at last minute and saved over 350 on our other quotes 10 out of 10 to homelink movers and storers for a smooth stress free removal and packing service would certainly recommend to anyone moving.

Great service.

We would like to thank the team from homelink for a first class removal and packing service. We had some family antique's to move that were expertly packed by their packing team prior to moving. Homelink was recommended to us by a friend, All our furniture was moved and return without any issues we were a little late collecting our keys but Joseph and his team did not mind and waited for us to obtain the keys without penalty. Was very satisfied with the service ii got from homelink when moving from derby to sheffield. They was the best price so was a little unsure to start with as cheap usually means poor, im really glad to say they really do go the extra mile and in my opinio have given us a service far beyond our expectations. The workers was especialy thoughtfull and helpful and nothing was to much trouble for them. I still wonder how they offer a service of this standard at a low price. Used this company to move us from Derby to Cambridge, They was really polite and friendly. We was very pleased with homelink who did a fantastic job moving us to cambridge. Great movers.

Fantastic service was moving back from Exeter to hull, was given several quotes and this was was by far the best. They turned up on time like they said and started packing my items straight away taking care of everything they moved and packed, when they arrived in hull they took great care of moving all the stuff in to a awkward move in to our pub Which was not the easiest place to unload in to we also had all the garden furniture for our new pub which was assembled for us and put in to place which gave us a great head start in to having the pub up and running quickly many thanks.

1st class service.

Used this compsany to mover us from coventry to middlesbrorough they arrived on time asnd were very cheery considering the weather. These guys know their stuff. Everything was put where we wanted it ewe couldent of asked for more. At arrival the kids were tired so they suggested yhey sorted the kids rooms first we thought that was a really nice thought of them as they were tired after travelling all day. Would recommend these guys to everyone I know, I'm noyt planning to mover anytime soon but when I do I won't hesitayted to call homrlink 10 out 10.

Removal Desborough to Halifax.

The guys were efficient and dealt well with a difficult end location (over 4 floors) despite a long journey from loading to unloading.  They followed my requests on the few items were additional care was required and communicated through the whole move. The only downside, there was insufficient room for my bike and outdoor plant meaning I needed to make an additional journey, luckily I was renting and had a week cross over to enable me to go back. On the whole, pretty efficient service.

I know at least 5 other people who have a similar story to mine. I have reported to trading standards.
I booked them for a 3 bed house move and 3 months container storage. They quoted me a fixed price and said they didn't need a list of contents c&s they 'do this all the time' and they know how much space a 3 bed house contents takes. I paid up front for moving, packing and dismantling all my large pieces of furniture.
On the day they turned up late. They had 2 guys who had no idea how to move furniture and 2 transit vans. When I queried that I didn't think everything would fit in 2 vans the owner, Joseph, was pretty abusive, telling me he knew his job blah blah and it would fit. The guys were swearing and being abusive throughout the move. They smoked practically in the house. They brought no tools to dismantle furniture, and when my retired neighbour came round with his tool kit, they made fun of him and were incredibly rude. The furniture would not fit onto the 2 vans, then Joseph really turned nasty and said I'd have to pay more - for the move and for storage.

He left, saying that another van was 'on its way'. 4 hours later, no van had turned up and Joseph was not answering any of the numbers I had for him. I drove to the Rutland addresss - to find it was fake. I called the police who were not much help, saying it was not thier concern. I drove to the Leicester depot - another fake address. I was really scared now, thinking I had just given all my house contents to these crooks. He turned up 7 hours after leaving.

He was again abusive, this time with the new house owners present, and refused to take 1 of the 3 wardrobes that remained because it was a 'double wardrobe' and he only had budgeted for a single wardrobe.

That night he sent a totally abusive email saying 'I don't do deals with your kind' and saying that I could not go to look at my goods in storage until I had paid him more cash. After a week of holding my goods to ransom, I finally got a reputable company to move my stuff from his rented, unsignedm , warehouse in Peterborough, where it had been dumped, and was certainly not stored in containers.

An awful awfuk experience. Do not use.

Thank you for your review, even though it is badly written and contains allot of fake information. I dispute this for the following reasons. Apart from us forgetting the correct tools to dismantle furniture, the rest of the review is rubbish intended to ruin my business which has not worked for you. We paid your neighbour £20 to borrow his tools he was quite happy with that at the time and his words where ignore her she's a right pain. You then sent a ginger haired man completely unconnected to our contract to try and belittle us which did not work. You attitude changed when I was explaining to you before we moved your bed that it had existing damage already. Perhaps you intended to claim off our insurance? Normal households do not have 5 settees to move for a property of your size and yes we did laugh when it took 3 men to move your bed settee and you said you moved this on your own. We offered to complete a home survey but this was refused by you as you was going away on holiday, your words where at the start I am a reasonable person if I exceed to volume quoted I will pay any additional charges WHICH WE WAIVED FOR YOU.
why you went to Leicester depot (awaiting our council tax bill to be uploaded to this site to prove its not a fake address) when your storage was going to Peterborough I then offered to take you to the depot and you refused this. The new householder had a few choice words about you also which I wont put on the site in order to keep our response professional . Also none of our guys on the day even smoked, I agree they where both in training by me so was not the most experienced. Most of your review I feel as been put in to attempt to ruin my company which thankfully after a year of completing your move it has not had the desired affect. I apologise for tolls not being I the vehicle on the day of the move, you did instruct a company to collect these for you which in my opinion where a joke blocked our warehouse door with their 16 year old vehicle, Our depot was brand new and yes our depot was not sign written as we do not do self storage and its not a wise idea to advertise we store people goods for insurance purposes, you goods where taken out of the crates in order for you to collect them. I notice from your goods you had moved several times why did you not appoint one of those to move your goods did you leave them a bad review? Again we are very sorry tools where missed that's the only thing we have to apologise for. I wish you all the best in the future. We complete thousands of moves every year and most are satisfied also you claim our good reviews are fake these are all checked by removal reviews prior to coming on to this site..

Service at its best.

This company have been extremely helpful when no one could hep myself and my partner we are both disabled they have been understanding and gone out of their way to provide an above average service Thankyou Joseph you were amazing they collected and delivered my boxes they ensured the items were safe and dry and returned to me shortly before I had to move house due to the sudden untimely death of my partner and myself being taken into hospital with a life threatening illness its service like this that is hard to gind these days.

A great team of movers!

A very big thank you to Joseph, Paul, Scott and Sarah for all their hard work moving us last weekend. Despite the hot weather everybody worked on with some friendly banter made the day go faster. We was let down by our other removal company at the last minute so luckily we rang homelink and they fitted us in thankfully.

Excellent Job.

Fantastic service, friendly guys arrived on time, our move was arranged at the very last minute as we were let down by a company in Cardiff that we had previously booked with. I would certainly recommend Homelink removals to anyone who wants a smooth hassle free move. 10 out of 10 to all the lads for their hard work and especially to Dan who arranged it all for us at very short notice.
